Who Is At Risk?

Women, diabetics, the elderly, people with urinary catheters or a serious illness and men with prostate problems are at risk3. 1 in 2 women and 1 in 20 men will suffer from UTI during their lifetime. Approximately 1 in 3 women will require treatment for UTI before the age of 242.

What Are The Symptoms Of UTI?

  • Burning sensation when urinating
  • Frequent urge to urinate
  • Strong smelling or cloudy urine
  • Lower abdomen pain
  • Blood in the urine

What Are The Current UTI Treatment Options?

Most UTI are in the bladder and are not serious. However, if the infection is not treated promptly, then it can travel up to the kidneys and cause a more serious infection3.

Cranberries, or cranberry juice, have been used as a solution to prevent a recurrent UTI. However, recent studies have shown that cranberries have had no significant impact when preventing UTI2.

Current UTI Treatment options include drinking fluids (especially water), antibacterial (reduces UTI occurrence), urinary alkalisers (relieves UTI symptoms), dietary supplements and URICIL.

Why URICIL?

URICIL is a NEW 2-in-1 Urinary Alkaliser and Natural Antibacterial Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) treatment which helps to relieve symptoms of UTI and reduce the occurrence of medically diagnosed cystitis (the most common type of UTI)1.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The curcumin (extracted from turmeric) in URICIL is a potent anti-oxidant which fights off the infection and reduces the occurrence. Curcumin is also a potent anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory agent that helps to relieve the inflammation of the bladder during cystitis. Potassium Citrate makes the urine less acidic (alkalises the urine) which helps to relieve the painful burning sensation when urinating.

Skipping doses or stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which may result in a return of the infection and make the bacteria more difficult to treat (resistant).

There are no known side effects for URICIL. If you experience any side effects, stop medication and speak to your doctor or your health professional.
